New Beginnings

Howdy Y’all!

Welcome to my new photography blog!  With a new year comes new changes, and it is bitter-sweet to be sure.

With 4HisGlory unable to continue and soon coming to a close, I decided to start a blog of my own to continue to share my musings that I pray will continue to be a blessing to you, and please forgive the constant tweaking and/or changes of this site as I perfect it in the next few months when I am able.

Here is a wonderful quote I thought I would open this blog with, and a photo from summer time last year to brighten your evening:

“This year, let us ask God to dissolve all our hopes into a single hope to know Christ and be found in Him. May this be a year to desire a radically transformed, deeper, truer, knowing of Christ as our All-Sufficient One.”

  1. That is a beautiful picture Annie! It certainly brightens my day! I really miss summer!
The quote also is a great reminder of why we are on this earth…to know Christ. I will have to print it out as a reminder to myself throughout the year!

  2. Sear Antoinette,
I am so glad you included me in your mailing about this new blog 🙂 I t is beautiful~

I have given a lot of thought as to how I will use my time this year, too, and I find I need to be cutting back on visiting blogs. BUT, I thought I would share this: if you find a moment to visit and a comment, I will do my best to always return the favor. I desire to go deeper, not broader, and I would love to follow along with you 🙂

  3. Antoinette, I love the quote by Mrs. Eliott and the picture is one of many words. How fitting for the quote. It is so amazing at how a picture can take words and make you think even further into them. Sounds like your family too has experienced many changes over this past year. I was just pondering this morning at how good the Lord is to always bring enough into our lives that we have that desperate need for Him. That pull within our hearts to look into a beautiful scene and long to draw nearer to Him. He is so good! May we always be drawing nearer. Love to you and your dear family. ~Mrs. Alexander
